Sparklers Squad Unite Blog hop and September Releases!!!

Hello Everyone! Thanks so much for joining the Spiegelmom Scraps design team for our September product release and blog hop! I hope you are enjoying all the projects you have seen so far and will continue on to see the rest, there all amazing!!!! To say I am excited and thrilled for this release and hop to day would be an understatement, since I DESIGNED quite a few of the new mixes today!!!!

For my project, I chose to work with my favorite mix from the release, Lisa's Starry Night!!!! And, my inspiration came straight from the masterpiece that inspired this mix....No automatic alt text available.

I broke out my watercolors pencils and Shimmerz Mists in Mama Sings the Blues as well as Mandarin Mai Tai, to create my own version of Van Gogh's Starry night in my travelers notebook and paired it with a wonderful quote by him that just is one of my favorite.

I made sure to create highlights and areas of texture using the gorgeous sequins! From the black tower to the brightly lit moon! Image may contain: food

    You used the Starry Night set - I can't make my mind up which new release is my fav but this one ranks way up there!

    Loved the use of the starry night mix with the painting! The mix is perfectly reminiscent of van gogh's work
