Happy March everyone!! Thank you for joining me today, you should have arrived from Nicolle's blog stop, her projects are always incrediable!!!
I'm so excited to be here for our monthly blog hop with SpiegelMom Scraps!!! This month we are doing a product swap with Creative Embellishments and there products are so GREAT and FUN to work with and compliment everything from SpiegelMom Scraps beautifully!!!
For my layout, I chose to use the chipboard work FAMILY. I loved the bronze/copper color of the candle holders in the photo, so used some VersaMark ink to apply embossing powder and heat set it to create a beautifully embossed title for my layout.
To start the rest of my layout, I mounted a piece of white American Crafts cardstock on a piece of tan to compliment the older photo I am scrapping. I splattered Deep Blue Sea Vibez and Cotton Candy Spritz and set it aside to dry.
I went through my scrap box and created layers behind my photo using various pieces as well as some bits of vellum. I mounted the completed photo cluster on an 8" doily from the shop as well as tucking some of the smaller 4" doilies into the paper layers for texture.
After all the layers and photo were adhered to the layout, I added the beautiful chipboard "Family" to the bottom of my photo and added the words "New Little" to complete my title in my handwriting. I added my journaling right under the right corner of the photo and then added some beautiful sequins from SMS to add sparkle. Morning Dew Drops and Chocolate Truffles were the perfect choices to compliment my photo and layout. A doodley boarder around the white cardstock and my layout was complete!
